Winter/Spring 2008, Bayport Course Schedule 

Standard First Aid with CPR/AED-Adult  plus CPR-Child and Infant - $70

Trains lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care form life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants.  Provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.

 

Upon successful completion of training, participants are issued a one (1) year certification in CPR/AED-Adult and Child, CPR-Infant and a three (3) year certification in First Aid

 

This is a 3- night course. Participants must attend Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Participants must provide proof of current CPR certification to be eligible to attend this class. Individuals may participate in a review course up to 12 months after the expiration of their certificates. 

 

Upon successful completion of training, participants are issued a one (1) year certification in CPR/AED-Adult.

 

This is a 1-night course.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer - $70

This course is designed for individuals delivering health care and/or assuring public safety.  The CPR/PR course teaches adult, child, infant one and two-rescuer CPR.  It will also include proper use of pocket masks and bag-valve-masks.  Participants are issued a one-year certification in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer upon successful completion of training.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review - $50

Babysitter’s Training - $45

This course provides individuals, ages 11 to 15, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians.  This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism; basic care; safety and safe play; and first aid. Participants will receive a Babysitter's Training handbook along with a Red Cross certificate upon completion of training.

 

The Babysitters Training Course is offered as a 1-day course from 9:00AM-3:00PM or a 2-day course from 9:00AM-12:00PM each day.  Below is a list of upcoming courses. Courses that are scheduled on a weekday during the school year are days that the Stillwater School District does not have school.

 

 

Participants must be 11 years of age, ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!
