Chapter
Trains 106 in
CPR
and First Aid

On March 27th, 29 new
employees
were
trained in Adult CPR
and First for Tjader &
Highstrom. Seventy-seven employees were given a refresher
course in Adult CPR.
Ten instructors, Bambi
Forcey, Charlene Jones, Corina Forcey, James Kane, Aaron Kizer,
Laurel DuBois, Lynn Gaffney, Mary Radtke, Joy Zasadny and
Stephannie Kelley did the training while five volunteers were on
hand to help, Mindi Anderson, Kathy Rivard, Jeff Anderson, Linda
Ferris and Terry Anderson.
The training was held
at Suzanna's Restaurant in New Richmond. Ten stations were set up
with an instructor in each station and each instructor was
responsible to make sure the employees were taught the skills and
understood them.
The employees were
trained to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations
and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or
cardiac emergencies in adults. They were provided with the
knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain
life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden
illness until professional medical help arrives.
The training went well
and the company was very pleased with the everything. If
your business is in need of training, please call Stephannie at
651-439-0031 or Terry at 715-485-3025.
