St. Croix Valley Chapter Staff
JAN GEORGE - Executive Director
Jan has been the Executive Director of the St. Croix Valley
Chapter since 1990. She has been with Red Cross for 38 years
beginning her career with North Central Blood Services and
the former St. Paul Area Chapter. Jan Chairs the State
Executives Committee which includes Chapter Executives from
all Minnesota chapters who meet quarterly to work together
on the Red Cross mission.
Jan lives on Chisago Lake in Chisago City and loves to spend time with her grandchildren, Zoey, Amaya, Malik and family. She enjoys golf and relaxing at the lake and says she loves coming to work everyday and has the best staff in the world. Her goal is to be the oldest living Chapter Executive and hopes to spend her time until retirement serving the needs of the people who live in the greater St. Croix Valley.
MICHELLE RYDBERG - Business Manager
Michelle has been with the St. Croix Valley Chapter since 1997. She began as a volunteer with what was the St. Croix County Chapter her senior year at UW-River Falls and then joined on as paid staff a year after graduation. Michelle was hired to do "light bookkeeping" but also manages the office and plans various fundraising events throughout the year.
Michelle lives in Hammond, WI with her husband Chris and daughter Madeline.
ANNE MCNAMARA - Emergency Services Director
Anne joined the St.
Croix Valley Chapter in 2006 which brings her total years of
service with the American Red Cross to twenty-two. She loves
working with our wonderful dedicated volunteers and feels
blessed to be a part of serving the communities of St. Croix,
Polk and Washington Counties.
Anne lives with her husband Dean in West Lakeland, MN which makes her commute to work a nice short journey through scenic back roads. Although they have no children, frequent visits by their critter friends (deer, fox and birds) keep them captivated.
TERRY ANDERSON - Program Coordinator, Polk County
Terry began her career with the St. Croix Valley Chapter in February of 1995. Her office is in Balsam Lake, WI and was hired to monitor all Red Cross activities in Polk County, WI. Terry says "we have built a base of volunteers, fund raisers and lots of friends throughout the years. This office is always looking for more volunteers..... give me a call."
Terry has been married to "Gunner" for 32 years, has 2 sons, 3 granddaughters and lives in Balsam Lake, WI.
Andrea Mordick - Health & Safety Coordinator
Andrea joined the St. Croix Valley Chapter in January 2009 as a Student Intern. After Completing her Internship and graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a bachelor of science in community health. She joined the fabulous staff team.
Andrea lives in Hudson, WI and loves to take pictures, be outdoors, the color pink and spending time with her friends and family.
