St. Croix Valley Chapter Measles Initiative

Thank you to everyone who participated in the walk/run on May 4th.  Over $1,300 was raised and will support the American Red Cross and the Measles Initiative. 

• Each day nearly 600 children die from measles… and millions more are at risk.
   
• The Measles Initiative is working toward the goal of reducing measles deaths by 90 percent worldwide by 2010 (compared to 2000). 
  
• It costs less than $1 to provide a child with measles vaccine to ensure a healthy future.
