Rockin' for the Red

On February 6, 2009 we raised much needed dollars for our local American Red Cross Chapter at the Trollhaugen Convention Center in Dresser, WI. While watching the skiers and snowboarders, we danced to Swanee & the Knights of Rock and Roll, bought raffle tickets and bid on silent auction items.  It proved to be an exciting and successful evening. The event was a huge success and will help support the programs and services we provide to our local friends and neighbors in need. The committee members and attendees were in awe of all the wonderful raffle and silent auction items that were generously donated from our local area businesses. The committee also thanks our sponsors: The RiverBank – Osceola, St. Croix Falls, Bremer Bank – Amery, Cardinal LG – Amery, Durex Products – Luck, St. Croix Regional Medical Center- St. Croix Falls, AnchorBank – Balsam Lake, Doar, Drill, and Skow – New Richmond, First National Community Bank – New Richmond and US Bank in Frederic.

When a neighbor or friend is faced with a disastrous situation, should it be weather or fire, your local chapter of the American Red Cross is there to help. We will make sure that you immediately have food, clothing and a warm place to lay your head at night. Or many may not be aware of the emergency personnel that respond to you in a time of need or even the caregivers of your children that have been trained in CPR and AED procedures by your local chapter of the American Red Cross.

These and many more Programs and Services are the reason why we hold our fundraisers, and we give the attendees, sponsors and donators our heartfelt thank you for all that you have generously given so the St. Croix Valley Chapter can continue to provide these much needed services.

All proceeds and donations will support the
programs and services in Polk County.
