Lifeguard Training

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program is to provide lifeguard candidates and lifeguards with the skill and knowledge necessary to keep the patrons of aquatic facilities safe in and around the water.

Requirements: Must be 15 yrs old by last class,
able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl
and breaskstroke, and retrieve a 10 lb. brick
from 10 ft. of water.

Pre-registration is required due to
limited class enrollment.

Please bring a swim suit, towels, and a hi-liter

 

YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR ALL SESSIONS

**NOTE: though you may take the lifeguard class at age 15, you cannot obtain a work permit in MN/WI to work as a lifeguard until age 16.
